Kansas City Ballet brings its celebrated holiday ballet, The Nutcracker to town this festive season! Choreographed by Artistic Director Devon Carney, Nutcracker is Kansas City's favorite holiday entertainment; as soon as the curtain rises and you experience the breathtaking sights and sounds - a magically growing Christmas tree, dazzling costumes and scenery, stunning choreography and dozens of beautiful dancers!

Winner of the 2023 Tony for Best Musical Revival, Parade is heading on a North American tour, beginning in January 2025! Following a limited run at New York City Center, the Broadway revival of Jason Robert Brown and Alfred Uhry's Tony-winning 1998 musical based on the true story of Leo Frank, a wrongly convicted Georgia factory owner who was subjected to a fate born out of hatred, hearsay, and hysteria.

Seen by millions of dance fans worldwide, Ballet Folklorico de Mexico has traveled to more than 60 countries and regularly garners rave reviews with every new show they produce. The oldest celebrated dance company in Mexico, Ballet Folklorico was founded in 1952 by Amalia Hernandez, as her own personal ambition to rescue the 60+ dancing traditions of Mexico. They have created more than 40 productions since then, each highlighting the historical and cultural importance of Mexico's different regions.

Puccini's last ever work, Turandot, comes to Kansas City, with a moving production from The Lyric Opera! Fusing high spirited comedy and breathtaking dance, Anna-Marie Holmes re-choreographs the iconic balletmaster Marius Petipa's legendary Don Quixote ballet, which was first performed by the Bolshoi Theatre of Moscow in 1869. Going on to become a long-lasting favorite of the classical ballet repertoire throughout the world, Kansas City Ballet presents Holmes' take on the timeless classic!
